Thurderbird suddenly doesn't launch successfully anymore
Hi All,
A colleague reported that Thurderbird suddenly starts crashing when launching it. The crash report was sent. We tried to reinstall the latest version, however, the same issue happens. Also tried to restart the computer several times.
Anything that we could do?

Try to start Thunderbird in safe mode. https://support.mozilla.org/kb/safe-mode-thunderbird

Thank you for your reply. I can't locate the crash report. There is even no Thunderbird folder under Library. I can't seem to install the "viewabout" add-on either. The safe mode is not working either.
The app crashes upon launching.
The only thing I can provide is the details:

This report also contains technical information about the state of the application when it crashed.
The safe mode is not working either.
What is the problem with safe mode? Just stating that it doesn't work is not helpful.

I was using the Option key while trying to launch Thunderbird but nothing happened. The app doesn't launch.
Please try to run Thunderbird via command line using the -safe-mode option. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode#Mac_OS_X
