Is there any addon or another way to insert emoticons into messages in Thunderbird chat from some list? Like in writting email message?

But I think you have to be aware. what is transmitted is :) for a smiley, not a picture. if the [person on the other end is using a chat client that does not support converting these text strings into icons upon receipt they will see :)
