I'm moving from Win LiveMail to TB. Setting up my hotmail account on TB I enter my hotmail email address and password - TB responds that either the username or password are incorrect - they're not Any ideas please? Thanks Pete

Are you trying to use POP? A few users have reported difficulties with Hotmail and POP, and my own POP-connected Hotmail stopped working too. It's been fine over an IMAP connection.

IIRC there is now an on/off switch for POP on the outlook.com settings page for your account, and you may need to turn it back on.

Cheers Zenos - I was trying to use POP, soon as I chose imap it worked. Doesn't fill me with confidence, but with LiveMail being killed off at the end of this month I gotta move somewhere. Thanks.
