Hello, Importing should not rid you of the previous passwords. If you did a refresh on firefox, like it asks you occasionally, you should be able to recover the passwords via finding the "Old Firefox Data" folder (likely on your desktop). If you can not find that folder, follow the instructions below If Firefox starts up after an update without your bookmarks and other settings, check whether your data is available in a different [[Profiles - Where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data|profile]]: Inside Firefox, type or paste '''about:profiles''' in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.
