and how can I get it back? The problem is not at my server pair.com but in T-bird's new changes.

I also HATE the new paragraph spacer that does not let me write single spaced when I want to and keep inserting the unwanted line spaces

Thunderbird has no provisions for blocking anything. It downloads messages that make it into your Inbox on your providers server.

If you do not like the double space turn it off.
