I've discovered that I can't type two spaces after a period in my web-based work email. Troubleshooting with work IT help guys confirmed that, if I try using same email in IE, I can type two spaces after periods. Does Firefox have a text correction feature that is preventing me from using two spaces after a period?

Gnospen- many thanks for the response. I've now re-checked, using Weboutlook for work email, but also by logging in to Hotmail. Using Firefox, I can type two spaces after a period while composing an email in Hotmail. Also using Firefox, I still could not type two spaces after a period while composing an email in Weboutlook. (However, using that same Weboutlook program in Internet Explorer, I could type two spaces after a period.) Thoughts?

I'm out of ideas. I cant understand how a browser can interfere with writing in web-mail and stop one character to double. . . . I don't have a hotmail or any other outlook.com account so I cant repeat it. Gmail and bredband.net works fine.

The limitations must be in the web-mailscript (from outlook.com) Microsoft sometimes bend the rules so things should be smother in IE Isn't there a window-tool that should stop nervous fingers?

Firefox has a spell checker, but that would not cause you problem.
