I need an update to firefox 2 for mac osx 10.3.9 I must keep mac version 10.3.9
I am using Firefox 2 on a Mac osx running system 10.3.9.
I would like to update to Firefox 3.6, but I am afraid that it will cause problems with system 10.3.9. Do you know if most functions will work or should I just stay with system 2 for Firefox?
I keep getting notices from Mozilla to update, unfortunately, I must keep system 10.3.9 on my Mac.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

If you’re still using Firefox 2.0.0.x, this version is no longer supported and contains known security vulnerabilities. Please upgrade to Firefox 3 by downloading Firefox 3.6.13 from http://getfirefox.com.
You can not upgrade to a current version of Firefox, Firefox 3.* versions require at least OS X 10.4, you are using the last version (Firefox 2.0.0.20) that works on OS X 10.3.9

Firefox 3.0 and newer requires OSX 10.4 and newer. The upcoming Firefox 4.0 will need at least OSX 10.5 as 10.4+ does not support it.
No point even trying to install 3.6.* as it will not work.
