Thunderbird not downloading incoming gmail (POP3) after latest update. I've cleared the mailboxes, uninstalled and reinstalled, and re-downloaded mail after resetting POP3. It downloads my outgoing sent email back to 2015 and shows outbound as incoming with no subject line or content.
I want to roll back to the previous version but cannot locate the installer for the previous version.

re : uninstalled and reinstalled, Are you talking about the actual Thunderbird program ? I'm not sure why you did this because the issue is to do with connectivity with server and not the program itself. There are very few reasons for needing to do a reinstall. It has no effect if something is not correct in the profile and gmail has a history of being a pain when it comes to POP accounts.
re : and re-downloaded mail after resetting POP3. Did you create a new pop account and then reset the 'Local directory to point at the original pop account folder ? OR did you just create a new pop account - it would have required you to do a manual selection as an imap would get set up by default - and let it download.

That does not sound correct. It cannot download sent mail because Pop accounts can only access the server Inbox to download whatever is in that Inbox. There is no synchronising of folders. There is no access to any other folder on server.
AS this is gmail, you would need to have checked some settings via the webmail account to ensure you got old download.
I suggest you stop doing anything because it is necessary to try to understand the current settings in order to understand what is going on.
Please post some information so we can see what settings you are currently using. Menu icon > Help > More Troubleshooting Information Scroll down to 'Mail and News Accounts' Copy all the information in that area and post it into this forum question.
re :I want to roll back to the previous version I would advise that you do not do anything until it is known what you have done. At this point, the problem is more likely to be in the profile folders and not the program.
