High CPU usage
I have ryzen 5 3400g, 16 GB dual channel ddr4 RAM,WD sn550 NVME SSD.
i never have trouble running firefox and can open right after booting up too.
but the problem i have is that after few minutes of using firefox will take up more than 50% of CPU. (which doesnt slow down firefox but heats the CPU up and makes multi tasking slower obviously)
And the unique part is if i click end task on that particular process it will end that CPU drain and firefox will still remain open without affecting any of my open tabs.
once i end task forcefully it wont happen again in that session but will happen again the next time i boot up my pc and use firefox.
In some cases it happens even if i dont open firefox and just connect the internet to my pc.

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?
You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ?
Control Panel -> System -> Advanced -> Performance -> Settings
If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file. How to determine the appropriate page file size for 64-bit versions of Windows {web link}
