I use mail labels and Thunderbird on multiple devices via imap. I can't get the labels sychronized across devices. My mail provider supports that service.

Recently we've experience problems with synchronizing mail labels across serveral devices uing imap. It used to work flawlessly, but after the installation of some new desktop computers in our network I can not get it to work and I do not have a clue why not.

The labels are our own labels and at every device the order, names and colours are matched.

Any clue on a direction for a solution

IIRC, the first 10 tags tags (0-9) should "map" nicely if you supply the names of the lables in the same order on each client.

If you go beyond 10 then the label coordination is all on you.
