Topic: Is anyone else experiencing the disappearing Tags bug?

Frequently, almost daily, Tags I've assigned to Bookmarks disappear from my list of Tags. I have quite a long list of Tags under different Tag categories. (I hope I'm using the correct terminology here.)

What happens is a Tag category will disappear from the list of other Tag categories. Then I must go to one of the Bookmarks that I know is under a specific Tag category. Then I select the properties for that Bookmark. It will show it is check marked under a Tag category, though the Tag category is not accessible (missing in the Bookmarks Tags section). I remove the check mark and save the properties page for that Bookmark. I immediately turn around and re-check the Tag category, then go to the top of the window where the list of Tag categories appears. The missing Tag category will now re-appear, along with any other Bookmarks that were checked in the properties section to be shown under that Tag category.

This is obviously a "bug" and I would hope that this will soon be fixed, since it is time consuming to go through the process above as a work-a-round, almost daily.

Not only is this problem NOT solved. It is being ignored.

I finally located another user that is having problems getting a response to their Firefox issue. I wrote the following to that user:

I also am not getting responses to a different problem. It is not a "crash", so from what is said above (in my response to the other users issue) it should have been responded to. I am polite, and realize this browser is designed by volunteers, including responses to issues by users.

However in the past I got almost immediate response to other problems. I am becoming concerned that perhaps world economic conditions are affecting people available to address problems with Firefox. I certainly don't want to be forced into another browser due to Firefox becoming unusable because it is not dealing with its technical issues.

I note that as of this writing the issue has been viewed 6 views but there are only 4 responses. I'm not sure if this indicates the additional 2 views were by me, or someone else who also had this issue.

I will post, again (lost track of how many times I've done so already) the issue of disappearing Tags. I'm very organized, thanks to available Add-ons, so when these Tags disappear I can readily locate the Bookmark, view its properties, delete the Tag (which is not appearing as it should), save the Property page, then reaccess the Property page, selecting the appropriate Tag from the drop-down list and saving it. This works for Tags having multiple Bookmarks, but is a little more difficult if only 1 Bookmark is Tagged. The end result is that the Tag is now visible.

Since this is now occuring almost daily it has become a chore I don't look forward to.
