Unable to send emails from my ISP's wesite since I made Firefox my default browser. Yet I can send emails from the same website on Inernet Explorer.

Can someone please help me with the problem I am facing? Since I've made Firefox my default browser, I can't sned emails from ISP's website. I can receive them just fine, but I can't send them. However, if I go on to Internet Explorer I can send emails from my ISP's website. Confused? Because I am!! Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi JD65, That does sound confusing and not expected. Greasing up the profile may reveal what may be causing this. Troubleshooting steps:

  1. Does this happen in Safe Mode? Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode This will allow you to determine if it is an add on that may be causing this issue.
  2. Have you cleared the cache of that ISP site? How to clear the Firefox cache
  3. Does this happen in a new profile: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
