Firefox 79.0 to 115 ESR requires macOS 10.12 to 10.14 to run while 116.0 to current requires macOS 10.15 or later to run.

The most current you can run on macOS 10.9, 10.10, 10.11 is the old Firefox 78.15.0esr https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-mac-osx-users-esr

You can get the Firefox 78.15.0esr.dmg from below link as just pick the language folder you want like say en-CA/, en-GB/, en-US/ https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.15.0esr/mac/
