Hi

OK so I was having some issues with firefox where I had to reinstall it and this did in fact resolve the issues I was having.

Problem I have is this though when I reinstalled it I first backed up my chrome folder which had all my custom CSS to move the tabs to the bottom of the header area and when I then reinstalled FF I then copied the folder back into my profile folder using the More Info under the help menu to make sure I was in fact in the right profile folder.

Problem is the code isn't moving the tabs and I seem to remember some issues with this the last time we had to fix FF that something had changed with the Chrome folders and such.

So what do I need to do to get my tabs back on the bottom again as I hate them up top!

Version: 128.0.3

Thanks!

Chosen solution

scottish2, did you set the following preference in about:config to true, restarting Firefox afterwards? toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets

(You can open about:config by entering it into the Firefox address bar and pressing enter, and then using the search box to find this preference)

Thanks I knew my code worked but I also knew I was missing something due to the changes awhile back to the Chrome folder. Tabs are back on bottom and me

yeah I wish they would just out the setting back and let the user chose rather the having to have the users mess around with work arounds and such.

But not gonna hold my breath after all the years Mozilla has ignored this request of alot of users!

I have restored tabs on bottom, but the menu bar is now below the bookmark toolbar. Is there a way to move it back to the top below the title bar? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
