Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page {web Link} (There’s a lot of good stuff here) and search for what you want.

There used to be such an add-on.

Especially the section :

"Preview in Firefox : Select this if you want Firefox to display the content. It's only applicable to a limited number of types, those that Firefox is able to decode such as Portable Document Format (PDF). "
