Hi Friends,

I'm trying to import mail to Thunderbird on Windows 10, from a cd, where it was exported from Windows Live Mail in Windows 7. I found this page, which explains about installing an add-on, which will allow the import. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/switching-thunderbird#w_importing-windows-mail-messages

I've downloaded it, but when I try to install, I get an error message that says "The addon could not be installed because it has not been verified. Learn more...." When I click Learn more, it tells how to change and option in about:config, which I did change, and restarted Firefox.

Then I tried again to install the export add-on, but I keep getting that same error message about not being verified.

Could someone help me with this?

Thank you very much  :-)

Chosen solution

The add-on is for Thunderbird, so you need to install it there instead of Firefox. Maybe this article will help: Installing an Add-on in Thunderbird.
