Today I went to open up Firefox and it opened, but all I get is a large black screen. I don't have any tool bars or anything. I have windows seven and all I can see is the blurry background of my desktop- the rest is black and I can't click on anything. Since I don't have any tool bars I have no way (that I know) of restarting Firefox. Is it a virus? Help!

Hello dawsonwhite, try to update your graphic driver

if the above does not solve the problem then, please turn off hardware acceleration and then restart Firefox normally.

if you can not open firefox to reach hardware acceleration option then start firefox into safemode by pressing the shift key while the application is launching and then disable hardware acceleration.

thank you
