How can I keep a picture I use as my home page enlarged when I re-start firefox?
I use a picture of a beach as my home page when Firefox starts. I then have to click on the picture to enlarge it so it fills the screen. Is there any way to keep it enlarged when I exit Firefox and open it again so I don't have to click to enlarge the picture each time? I have tried saving it (in options) while enlarged, to no avail. I have also tried larger pictures and it won't work. Any thoughts?

Are you using a specific web page or do you use a local page with this image or do you use code in userContent.css to add this image?
What are the dimensions of this image?
Are those larger then the Firefox window?

It is a JPEG image 1024 x 768. In Firefox, I used the open file command and chose this picture from "My Pictures" in Windows (or others of various size) and then went to Tools, Options, General, Show my home page and Use current page. Regardless if the picture is the small size when I save or the enlarged size, it still opens as small. I never had this problem until I had to "Reset Firefox" because of a problem. Is there a command line in the config file that needs or could be changed?
Do you see the usual zoom icon with a plus to indicate that the image is not at its native size?
Did you make sure that the page isn't zoomed?
- View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Command+0 on Mac)

Yes, it is the zoom icon I use to enlarge the picture, so the picture isn't at its native size, as you say. Put in this way, it won't open in its native size.
Does this also happen when the Firefox window is maximized?
Does this only happen when you start Firefox or also if you open this image file or other image files directly?
You can check for problems caused by a corrupted localstore.rdf file.

Yes, it happens when the Firefox window is maximized. I don't understand what you mean by "if you open this image file or other image files directly"? It happens when i start Firefox regardless if I paste the picture or open the picture in Firefox.
