I use Firefox 4.0. I go to tools, option, advanced, then I try to put a check mark in Tell web sites I do not want to be tracked the box is grey and will not let me put in he check mark. Can you please help me.

You're not in Private Browsing mode when you try to select that preference, are you?
I am not sure. How would I check.
