It should be possible to use Firefox 4 in much the same way as firefox 3.6

I didn't find the "preachy crap" about not installing older versions due to security risk...very helpful either. Nor the line about, "Problems with an update are generally not caused by the new version of Firefox, but rather the update process. Installing a previous version will not help in most cases. Instead, see:..."

Generally???!!! "But rather the update process"... Well, OK, if it's the update process then fix the freakin' update process. Besides, I find it interesting that everyone wants to go bag to the SAME version (3.6)...I wonder why? Could it be because THAT was the last stable version?

Futhermore, (see image) When I installed version 6 and 7 I got the warning that Firefox is incompatible with Java. Two points here. One, is Firefox willing to throw it's user base to the wolves? You give me a choice to disable Java or run your new version? I have MUST RUN programs that MUST USE JAVA...for example, stock trading. You think your new version is more important than that??? Not hardly. Two, how about writing your software so that it IS compatible with Java?

Then this bizarre line about it's not the new version of Firefox it's the installation process? Who do you think you're kidding? First, it's version 6 and 7 that's incompatible with Java on a Windows 7 platform. Now, I'm getting the SAME notice with Firefox version 3.6 on an XP platform. What is it with you people???????
