Transform an addressbook into a mailing list
Greetings,
In Thunderbird I have an addressbook named "Olsa"containing 81 entries (members of ...) but Thunderbird does not see it when I try to send a mail to these 81 names. If I create an (otherwise empty) mailing list with the same name in "Personal address book" Thunderbird detects it at once. How can I solve this? I know I can create a new mailing list and then add manually the 81 addresses but that is something I would very much like to avoid.
Thx for a possible answer

Note: 'Ctrl' + 'A' will allow you to select all the contacts in one go. Then drag and drop from address book into Mailing List.
All names will still be in the address book as they must be in the address book in order to be in the mailing list. Any address book can contain more than one mailing list, so if you ever need a mailingl;ist with only a specific subset of Olsa contacts, you can add that as a Mailing list as well at any time.

re :addressbook named "Olsa"containing 81 entries In the Address Book called 'Olsa', create a Mailing List called 'Olsa' or whatever you want it to be called and use 'drag and drop' to place all the contacts into the 'Olsa' Mailing list.
Then in a new Write message, you can select the 'Olsa address book in the 'Contacts Sidebar and it will also contain an 'Olsa' Mailing List . Select the 'Olsa' mailing list name and click on 'Add to Bcc' button.
