firefox will no start due to error re personal profile missing but cannot get around this error via shift key or safe mode start therefore cannot get further
windows 8 computer. cannot start in safe mode to access profile manager to recreate a profile. the original appeared to be corrupted so it was sent to the trash thus must recreate a new one. Have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled to no avail. all avenues in forums go around in circles and do not get the profile manager up.
