I have tried rebooting my computer and doing a system restore to no avail. There is nothing in my sent, trash, folders I've created, spam, NOTHING! Please help! It begin yesterday when I went to delete some emails from my comcast email account. It deleted those emails and apparently everything else.

have you logged into comcast web mail and checked what is there?

Of course. My online account doesn't have folders I've created in Thunderbird. My backup also doesn't backup my email. Even now, if I delete an email it doesn't show up in deleted. If I try to move an email from one folder (it didnt wipe out my folders, just all the content) to another, the folder is blank and the email disappears.

Also, it has affected my gmail account that is linked to thunderbird the same way.
