me too.. althought it doesn't open infinite tabs - what it does is OPEN INFINITE NUMBER OF WINDOWS UNDER INTERNET EXPLORER! Keeps going - if I go to Task Manager and kill the main program "Iexplore.exe" it stops and deletes all the subsidiary windows and everything seems to be fine - no damage or anything - just annoying. Options->program under tools says to use Windows Live for sending email links - that's my main mail server and it is perfectly fine.
You get tabs opening endlessly if you select the Firefox program to handle a file when you get an "Open with" dialog. You should never do that because Firefox wouldn't ask if it could handle this.
You can rename/remove the mimeTypes.rdf file in the Firefox profile folder to reset all file actions.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
Separate Security Issue: Update your Flash Player Note: Windows users should download the active_x for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the active_x.
Flash Player Version: 24.0.0.194
