firefox loads wrong images
for some weird reason over the past couple of days firefox has been acting weird, l dont notice the problem much but its annoying when it happens.
basically l'll open a page containing an image in a tab, if l press the back button (or relevant key on my mouse) then click on another image it will load the correct image for a second then suddenly change to the image l opened before going back to the previous page.
simply put l start on page A then load image B, return to page A, decide l want to see image C on another page and for a second image B loads for a few seconds then suddenly it changes to image B despite being on the right page for image C if that makes sense which a refresh seems to resolve, lve no idea why its started and nothing has changed within my browser as l dont believe lve had any addon updates directly before the problem started which is leaving me confused.
(and before anyone tells me to update, lve addons that would break if l did which l extensively use, however the problem isnt because of the version as there hasnt been any problems until now).

You didn't mention one way or the other so...
When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
- right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
- Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?
If the problem occurs in different tabs, as though the new tab is briefly transparent and the other tab is showing through, it could be a compatibility issue with your graphics card/chipset driver software. New issues can arise after a driver update.
The standard workaround is to disable Firefox from using hardware acceleration. To test that:
"3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the "General" mini-tab, uncheck the box for "Use hardware acceleration when available"
This takes effect after you close Firefox and start it up again.
