Why does the view size of a page keep resetting? It used to remember the size that I wanted a page to appear on my screen.

I used to be able to go to a website on even the Firefox home page), and click on 'View' and 'Zoom' to magnify the page, and Firefox would remember the setting the next time I went back to a page. Now, I have to zoom-in every time I use Firefox. I know that if I use 'Private Browsing', it will not remember my setting for a page, but I'm using the normal browsing.

Private Browsing doesn't save Zoom settings, or use the settings you made while not in Private Browsing mode.

If you are having to Zoom every page you view, you should install one of these extensions and set a default zoom level.

Try the Default FullZoom Level extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/6965

Or the NoSquint extension:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/

Make sure that ZoneAlarm ForceField isn't blocking or erasing the file content-prefs.sqlite in the Profile Folder
