After logging into my GMAIL account. I can see the current messages for a second and then the website switches to Google Calendar automatically. This makes access to gmail impossible.

URL of affected sites

http://mail.google.com

User Agent

Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 8.0; Windows NT 5.1; Trident/4.0; InfoPath.2; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; .NET CLR 3.0.4506.2152; .NET CLR 3.5.30729)

Disable the 'Integrated Gmail" add-on for FireFox

I had the same problem and fix suggested by Phil did work. Thanks Phil.

I have the same problem, but I don't understand the way you got il solved. Where am I supposed to disable something ? (Sorry english is not my mother tongue, neither is computer language). Consider me as a beginner.

This fix worked more me as well.

To disable or uninstall you navigate the menus.

Tools then "Add-ons" which opens the Add-ons window. In the extensions uninstall the "Integrated Gmail"

Too bad my wife found this Add-on most useful

problem fixed by disabling integrated gmail add-on. Will mozilla update the otherwise very useful add-on to make it work properly again? When will this be released?

I also liked the add-on, but even going to the IG site is a night mare! It is not clear what info to type in: username/e-mail/password and then it does not have or does have and does not open the help button. After 30 minutes I was not at a place to report the problem!!

BTW - Why is "form complete" not working on this page?????

The problem seems to be fixed after the recent update of the add-on offered by mozilla
