How do I keep my blocked images while clearing history?

As most know, Firefox has the option to right click and block images...... but if you select to clear your history (because people who share your computer and use it for hours, junk it up) the blocked images are back and you have to re-block them, so my question again is: How do I get these images to stay blocked until I decide to manually unblock them.

I will never want them unblocked though as they are x-rated.

Have you considered creating a "guest" Logon User Account in Windows? http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-user-account#create-user-account=windows-8

Each Windows account has its' own Firefox Profile, so that what happens in your Profile stays in your Profile. Pages or images loaded in the "guest" account won't make their way into your Firefox installation.

I like efficiency and tidiness and another account of any kind would bother me mentally, don't ask why I am just that way.

So I would rather find a way to edit a file to save images I want blocked automatically somewhere in the Firefox browser or files in the installation of Firefox.

In case you are using "Clear history when Firefox closes" or otherwise clear the history:

  • do not clear the Site Preferences

Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, passwords, and other website specific data.
