The window to add info to Sync with my existing computer has 2 buttons -Add a new account- and - I have an account - . The Create New button will respond but since I already have an account that does not help. The "I have an account" button will not respond at all. Touch screen finger or stylus , and highlighting the button & using the "Enter" key all have absolutely no effect. I deleted Firefox & reinstalled it but still exactly the same. My OS is Windows 8.1. Any ideas on how I can get past that d....d screen?

Turn off touch mode if you have metro turned on. Try to right click the link and open it in a new tab. Or you can manage the account in Firefox > Options > Sync Unfortunately Metro will not be continued, however it should would normally out of touch mode.

Does anything appear in the Error Console? when you click on the link?

As this was a new download/install of Firefox I had obtained a new download & reinstalled it. Without success. So I reset Firefox and that cured the problem. I had not done a reset before as this was a brand new installation, however, the reset worked. Thanks for helping.
