My tabs have been ballooning like crazy because of this. I like the feature firefox has to resume browsing where you left off, however, it's been very frustrating to manage lately because of this.

Basically, say i have 10 tabs open, i close out of 5 of the tabs and then exit the app, when i reboot the app, those 5 tabs will be back open and i will have 10 tabs open once again!

Any ideas what might be up with this?

Hi

What is the version number of Firefox for Android that you have installed?

Do you have tabs set to sync to another device through Firefox Sync?

Hey Seburo!

Sync is disabled. Version is 100.3.0 (Build #2015881499)

Thanks!

Any update on a potential solution?

I am sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

If you open the Android Settings app, select Applications and clear the cache (not data!) for a number of your apps (including Firefox for Android), is the situation any better?

No Effect unfortunately.

I also noticed this situation specifically happens when i close tabs out and then i close the app right after, if that helps at all.

Hi

I think that what you might be seeing is https://github.com/mozilla-mobile/fenix/issues/24116

If so, I recommend leaving comments there to help our developers look into this further for you.
