migration of Thunderbird profile from Linux to Windows
I need to migrate my e-mail account (profile and e-mails) from a linux computer to a new computer with Windows10. Is it as sraightforward (copy and paste) as from linux to linux (I have done it in the past)? Thanks.
Chosen solution
Yes it is. Delete the pkcs11.txt file before launching Tbird after the copy. The Linux copy has Linux-style paths which won't work in Windows. A new one will be created automatically. If you don't delete it, you will get repeated prompts for account login passwords despite the correct password being supplied and saved in Tbird's password vault.

The above is not working for me. After deleting the pkcs11.txt file and then launching Thunderbird, I get the attached error.
