Not auto-downloading emails at start up or every 5 mins per settings: Details (Thunderbird 68.5.0 (64-bit)): > msn.com email address (SSL/TLS or StartTLS both work with normal pwd) > Server Settings: first 3 checked and leave messages on server checked. > Advanced: Inbox for differenct acct: local folders & include this server checked.

If "Get Messages" is clicked then the messages roll in but otherwise they don't appear when Thunderbird is started or every 5 mins.

Thanks. I created a new profile (RUN: thunderbird.exe -p) and then I copied over the .mab files to retain the autofill db and it's working. Thanks for the help!

There is a bug where mail isn't fetched at startup if Local Folders is the Default account. Normally, this isn't possible, but may be a leftover from when the Manually sort folders add-on was installed. Check also the setting 'Include this server when getting new mail' in Advanced Account Settings.

I would try setting a different mail account as Default from Account Actions in Account Settings, restarting TB, and see if it restores the correct behavior (see c#40 in the bug report).
