v37.0.2 has new icon on top toolbar (looks like server), how do i remove?
Hello
I upgraded to v37.0.2 and now the top toolbar (the one with the URLs, search in it), has new icon on top toolbar -- far right (looks like server). please see screenshot.
I went to remove it by following my usual method of editting a toolbar 1) clicking the 3 horitzontal line icon (settings i think its called) 2) then clicked customize 3) then drag and drop the unwanted icons off the toolbar. But sadly the little fellow disappeared when i went into that mode. So could not do step 3
Typically if i want to remove something from a toolbar, i do these 3 steps. But this doesnt work for this new thing.
how do i remove this new thing as i dont want it?

Sorry, I don't recognize that icon. Does a "tooltip" appear when the cursor is hovering over that icon / button? Or what appears when you click the little down-arrow to the right of the "separator"? The menu might tell you what the icon is related to.
Also, a listing of your installed extensions might be helpful to identify what that is.

You could check the value of the browser.uiCustomization.state pref and check the items on the Navigation Toolbar.
You can open the Scratchpad (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) and paste the value data in the editor area. Click the "Pretty Print" button to format the file for better readability.
The icon is related to videohelper addon. The addon must of upgraded at the same time as 37.0.2.
In the dropdown the-edmeister alerted me to, was an options, that i could select to remove this new icon from the toolbar.
