My inbound mail messages get 'stuck' after a large file message download, so that no additional messages load
I use Thunderbird to retrieve messages from a POP server. It usually works fine, but occasionally following a mail with a large attachment, will only re-retrieve that particular message on a continuous loop, without downloading any further messages. I try deleting some of the prior inbound emails, and sometimes this frees up the download. Today, after 4 days of trying, nothing is downloading. Nor are any inbound messages being noted.
Chosen solution
Go to your email providers web mail page and delete the problem email there. See if that frees up your other email.
