Hiding Bookmark button on Navigation toolbar
The bookmarks button has disappeared from the Navigation toolbar since a recent update of FF. It magically reappears when I select "toolbar layout" but vanishes when I click "Done". All the others are fine!
I have dragged it to different positions and even "restored default" but it won't come back.
Any ideas people? Cheers

You only see the Bookmarks menu button if the menu bar is hidden (View > Toolbars or Firefox > Options).
If the Bookmarks Toolbar is visible then the Bookmarks Menu button is displayed on the Bookmarks Toolbar as part of the Bookmarks Toolbar Items (bookmarks).
Otherwise the Bookmarks Menu button will appear on the right side of the Navigation Toolbar.

Hey marrtinb,
Have you tried starting Firefox in Safe Mode? Hold down "shift" while Firefox is starting up. If you see the bookmarks button in Safe Mode, you should read Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems.
There is also a lot of good information in the Navigation buttons like back, home, bookmarks and reload are missing Knowledge Base article.
Hopefully this helps!
