Thunderbird View->Message Source is displaying the source for the Google News page and not selected email
When I use View->Message source after selecting an email to view, what I see is the source for Google News: I'm on 78.10.0 MacOS 11.2.3

I was able to fix the problem by removing the link to Google news from the Preferences setting for the Start Page. Now View->Message Source displays the message source correctly. Go figure!
I have the same issue.
Version: 78.14.0 (64-bit) OS: macOS Catalina, v10.15.7
To reproduce, you need to have RSS Feed added to your Thunderbird.
1. Start Thunderbird; 2. Click on RSS Feed; 3. Select any RSS Feed item; 4. Go back to Inbox; 5. Select message you want to view source; 6. Select View-> Message Source and you will see the source for the last RSS Feed item you selected.
If you quit Thunderbird and start it again, but this time do everything from 4th step, you will see the source of the Message you selected.
Probably, variable where you store last/current selected message is not updated.
Hope you will fix it quickly/easy.
Thanks, Maxim
