Thunderbird not checking HughesNet email account on startup.

I have two email accounts on Thunderbird, HughesNet and Gmail. On startup Thunderbird no longer checks my HughesNet account. I can see at the lower left of the screen it sends login info then jumps to checking my Gmail account. The Gmail account gets accessed and downloads emails. This occurs only on one computer. The other machine checks HughesNet correctly on Thunderbird startup.
