Hello

There is a small problem with the Message Filtering (rule). IMAP account. I have defined a rule to move messages to a folder if the subject message is the word xxx. I receive a message on your smartphone xxx (IMAP) wiadmoość is marked as read. THUNDERBIRD open, pulls the message as read, and the problem is - the rule does not work and does not carry the message to the folder. The problem occurs even if a rule has a record of news from couple to move if the news from couple is read.

Message Filters automatically run on New incoming mail to Inbox providing this is selected in the filter rules: 'Getting New Mail' I can see from your image that this was selected.

If you access the message via other means before using Thunderbird to view mail, then any emails marked as read will not get filtered because they are not new. This means you would need to manually run the filter on the Inbox to move previously read - not new - emails. This should work if the Filter Rules selected to Apply filter when 'Manually run'. I can see from your image that this was selected.

However, when reading an imap server email by another method eg: Phone. See if resetting the email to 'mark as unread' resolves the Thunderbird Filter issue.
