Thunderbird Script is slowing down my computer.

I've googled this error and have searched mozilla.org numerous times. So between the slow internet connection, windows 7 machine in a windows 10 world, and the script slowing down my computer, I'm very frustrated. It appears to be attached to Thunderbird but slows down Firefox as well. What can I do? I thought it was a calendar on Thunderbird but it's not configured. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.

Another user reported similar script errors, including the one you mention. Running Windows in safe mode seemed to cure the problem with TB in normal mode, so I suggest you try that and see if there's a difference (Win7 safe mode). The fact that it affects Firefox, too, indicates there's a startup program, e.g. antivirus, causing the issue.
