"browser.cache.memory.capacity" seems obsolete.

I want to increase firefox's memory cache.

From the knowledge base, this seems to be the value that should be changed.

http://kb.mozillazine.org/Browser.cache.memory.capacity

To verify the change, I checked "about:cache?device=memory".

No matter what the value "browser.cache.memory.capacity" is, under the section "memory",

It shows "Maximum storage size: 28672 KiB".

(the disk cache section shows correct values, btw)

Is there something wrong here?

FF ver, 52.6 ESR, 51, and several other old versions.

I want to increase firefox's memory cache. Thank you for the reply. Seems that you mean it works fine in latest FF ver or the ver you are using?
