This same Firefox release works on my desktop Windows 8.1 when trying to open Blur but I just get a white page when using my Windows 7 laptop. I tried to disable all add-on and restarting, tried uninstalling and reinstalling and I tried opening it in safe mode but nothing worked. Blur works with Explorer on the laptop but I prefer working with Firefox.

If you use extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) that can block content (Adblock Plus, NoScript, Disconnect, Ghostery, Privacy Badger, uBlock Origin) always make sure such extensions do not block content.

Firefox shows the shield icon at the left end of the location/address bar in case Content Blocking is blocking content.

  • click the shield icon for more detail and possibly disable the protection

You can check the Web Console about what content is blocked

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from this domain like history and cookies and passwords and exceptions and cache, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

I had no problem with https://dnt.abine.com

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache.

Warning ! ! This will log you out of sites you're logged in to. You may also lose any settings for that website.

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Did this help?

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.

Since Blur houses all of my passwords I was afraid to try this solution. If I do this and loose all passwords it will now impact all of my web sites - not just Blur. If I try this can I import it back into Blur and will that site now work?

I do not understand why the post says that my problem was solved. I chose "this does not solve my problem" but it shows that I marked it as solved. It is not.

A good test would be to temporarily Disable Add-ons with a Restart of the browser:
Menu > Help > Restart With Add-ons Disabled.
I suspect you may be having problems with DuckDuckGo P.E. At least I did a while back and got rid of it.

Also Do This:

Manage Permissions:
Go to Menu > Options and enter in the Options Search Box, Site Data. Click on Manage Permissions and in there add:
https://dnt.abine.com
and then again with:
dnt.abine.com.com
...then Save it.

Using Forget About This Site worked. I was afraid to try it but all is good. Thank you
