I could not access www.ebay.com with previous version of FireFox. Updated to FireFox 8.0. Still not able to access ebay. disabled javascript. still not able to access ebay, cleared cache and history. still not able to access ebay.

Also unable to access www.floorskills.com. Other sites I use, google, linkedin, bankersonline, rmax, all work fine.

I resolved this problem by changing my router's DNS assignments to my ISP's DNS servers.

I suspected the DNS settings after getting the same results on 3 different devices and using 4 different browsers.

Sorry for the bother.

For those that are still having issues with accessing Ebay or any other website, please try scanning for possible viruses.


Download and run Hitman Pro 3.5

1. Download: http://www.surfright.nl/en/downloads/

2. Scan using quick scan.

3. Setup page: select "No, I only want to perform a one-time scan ..."

4. If it finds anything, select free cleanup.
