I cannot create a new sync account on my desktop because it tells me that my email address is invalid: how do I correct this?
I am trying to create a new sync account, but my email address is rejected as an "invalid address": what must i do to overcome that?

Hi,
One reason could be that the email address is already registered. You can check that by typing a few extra characters. If the email is already registered you can Connect to that, otherwise you may have to register with another account.

Make sure that you type the full email address and wait a while.
You may see that message only while you are still typing your email address and in that case the message should disappear once you finished typing it.
