About Flash Player after 2020
Hello,
The company I work for has a very large Flex system making it impossible to migrate to another technology until 2020.
My suggestion is to keep the current version of mozilla as it is running the flash player, I would disable automatic updates and freeze the browser in the current version.
My question is: whether this work after 2020?

The Firefox 78 ESR will continue to have the ability to run Flash until June 2021 at least. Our ESRs get support for an additional three months beyond the release of a new version, so practically you will see flash support until probably October 2021 but only if you use the 78 ESR.
There will be no changes to the Firefox ESR to disable Flash.
Note that Adobe plans to make changes at the end of December to disable Flash.

They specifically say:
"Adobe will be removing Flash Player download pages from its site and Flash-based content will be blocked from running in Adobe Flash Player after the EOL Date."
This page has information on how to keep flash running beyond the EOL date.

Hello McCoy, how are you?
From what I understand, some browsers will continue to support Adobe Flash after 2020. (Basilisk, KMeleon and Pale Moon).
However, a question arose: these browsers do not have the built-in flash, that is, it is necessary to install it on the computer so that the visitor can interpret it. As Adobe will abandon flash, will the operating system be able to continue running these old versions of flash player?

That's a very good question !
I am not familiar with Linux, but I think the best way to find out is to ask Linux support.
Maybe you can find the right place among these search results ....
You can possibly consider Firefox 68 ESR (68.10.0) and Firefox 78 ESR when it replaces 68 ESR to still have some support for Flash.
Firefox 68.10.0 ESR:
Hi joao6
If the replies from our fab volunteers don't resolve it, please ask on the enterprise mailing list:

If you are running Flash on a Windows system, you may need to be selective about your Windows updates:
Beginning in January 2021, Flash will be disabled by default and Flash versions older than the June 2020 release will be blocked. Flash Player components will be removed from the Windows operating system via an update in early 2021.
