Messages going into Junk Mail folder that are not Junk.
I have messages that are being put in the Junk Mail folder that are not junk mail. I don't know if Thunderbird is doing this or Specturm.
Spectrum has a "SPAM" folder which equates to the Junk Mail folder in Thunderbird. If I put an email in the Junk Mail folder and look on Spectrum it will be in the Spectrum SPAM folder. There are emails in the folder that do not have the Thunderbird Junk icon. I do not know if it is Spectrum or Thunderbird placing them in the folder. I have opened the Spectrum email on there web page, selected the emails in question, and checked the option that indicates it is not SPAM. The Spectrum application puts those emails into the Inbox.
I do not know if I need to do something in Thunderbird or Spectrum to resolve this problem. I would think that if the Thunderbird Junk icon is not associated with a message that Thunderbird is not the problem, but I don't know.
If I need to communicate with Spectrum let me know.

You'll need to train the Thunderbird spam filter for it to work properly. That means to mark messages as 'Junk' which are Junk, but haven't been classified as such, and marking false positives as 'Not Junk'.

The Junk icon would indicate that Thunderbird has classified a message as Junk.
Thanks, I did not realize I could mark a message as Not Junk. When I looked at the message the only option was Junk. After receiving your response I found Message/Mark/Not Junk. That put the message in the Inbox. I had been looking for something like that.
