After update to Firefox 62 JAWS (version 18) accessibility software now no longer works.
Hello, I work in IT and one of the users we support relies on JAWS 18 to vocalize her email through Firefox. Her version of Firefox was updated to 62 the night of 9/5/2018 and with log-in today she received message: "Display of tab content is disabled due to incompatibility between Firefox and your accessibility software. Please update your screen reader or switch to Firefox Extended Support Release.". We uninstalled Firefox Quantum 62 and installed Firefox Quantum ESR 60.2.0esr (64-bit). We made sure JAWS was updated to version 18.0.5038 (latest version). Restarted the machine and still have the same error. Is this a known issues with Firefox Quantum 62? Any idea how to troubleshoot this. We have had to go back to an image of Firefox 52 to get her up and running temporarily. Thanks for your help.

You can try to disable multi-process.
You can disable multi-process windows in Firefox 58+ by setting this pref to false on the about:config page.
- browser.tabs.remote.autostart = false
The previously used opt-in pref browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 is no longer supported in Firefox 58+. You can reset browser.tabs.remote.autostart.2 via the right-click context menu to the default value to have this this pref removed on the next start.
You can set this pref via an autoconfig file if you need it for more users.
You can open the about:config page via the location/address bar. You can accept the warning and click "I accept the risk!" to continue.
- bug 1489605 - Disable e10s for OLDJAWS users on Firefox 60ESR using sytem addon.
