Hi , i checked on how to create mailing list but the option simply does not exist in the gui as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-create-and-use-mailing-lists-thunderbird#w_create-a-mailing-list

Thunderbird version 78.8 Ubuntu 20.04

I can't make a screenshot of it because the menu collapses when i press the screenshot button.

My options are: Message Event Task

Folder... Saved Search...

5 Account something things (feed, chat, mail) Calendar...

Address Book Contact... Chat Contact (grayed out)

But no "Mailing List".

Open Address Book and then File/New/Mailing List, or click the New List button. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with File is hidden.
