When I receive an email regarding a change I may have made to my Firefox account (password for example) it shows my location and IP address as something completely different to reality. Why is that, and should I be worried?

How are you verifying this? And are you using a proxy or vpn?

I asked the question " How do I find my IP address" on Firefox, the answaer came back to navigate to the Network area, where I should find it. Once there I found several, IPv4, IPv4 DNS, Physical Address, none of which match the one shown on the reply from my account. As you will have gathered I am in no way technically minded when it comes to computers, but I do worry when an official reply comes back showing my location as some 80 miles away from my actual location, and with a set of numbers (my IP Add) which bear no resemblance to what my computer is showing me. Should I be concerned??
