Hello,

I am running FF 61.0.1 (32-bit) on Windows 7 Home Premium. When I go to Options > Privacy then click clear History I get a window that lets me select what to clear (I have been checking Browsing & Download History and Cache. However there is no scroll provided to get to any buttons to activate clearing these selections. Lots of web sites show a cancel button and a clear button at the bottom but I have nothing.

So how do I clear my cache?

Thanks!

Chosen solution

You can try to zoom out the page via "Ctrl + -" to see if that makes the Clear Now button appear.

You can also use "Clear Recent History" in the History menu (Ctrl+Shift+Delete).

  • you can tap the Alt key or press the F10 key to show the hidden Menu Bar temporarily

This worked. Wonderful, I hope that in the next update the similar screen you get by going through Options gets fixed.

Thank You

Note that "Ctrl + -" would mean to press the Ctrl and minus keys to zoom out and make the page smaller and not Ctrl and the plus key that would zoom in and make the page bigger.

Hi cor-el,

I tried both Ctrl ++ and Ctrl +- and neither made the Clear Button show up.

The only thing that worked was to use Alt > History > Clear Recent.

Thanks again!
