Your link on resetting master password is not working for me. How can I remove the master password? It says go to chrome://something.., and it will let you reset the master password. This is NOT working (for me)! I have tried in regular browser AND private browsing mode. It says the file is not found. Everywhere I look, it leads to that page that says go to chrome://whatever! I can't find any other way. And I do NOT think uninstalling and reinstalling is an option. I have way too much customized.

The documentation you are finding is for desktop Firefox or very old versions of Firefox for Android. The only way to remove the master password on Firefox for Android is to reset Firefox.

This will delete all Firefox settings, bookmarks, history and saved passwords, etc. The simplest way to accomplish this is to use Google Play to uninstall and reinstall Firefox.

So.. there's no other way around it? It seemed before there was a way. I'm just really trying to avoid it. I have so much invested in my current install. :(

Thanks for your time and answer.

Also, might wanna have the appropriate person(s) notified that that specific method is still live, not just on search engines indexed somewhere, but Mozilla's search function on how to fix it still takes you there.
